BLAST Aerospace Magnet Program at Watkins-Nance Elementary

Through innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Aerospace experiences, students in the Richland One BLAST – Building Lasting Aerospace STEM Trajectories – Magnet Program at Watkins-Nance Elementary School engage in hands-on learning that ignites curiosity and prepares them for the future of exploration and innovation.

Our rigorous, fast-paced curriculum challenges students in kindergarten through fifth grade to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate through project-based learning aligned with South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards. Students explore real-world aerospace concepts while developing strong foundations in STEM literacy, creativity, and leadership.

The BLAST Program is available by application and lottery selection.
We invite families to join us for one of our upcoming information sessions to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
